  • Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to accept returns.

    This policy is driven by two principal factors:
Firstly, we are committed to ensuring that every product we provide is delivered in pristine, factory-sealed condition, in the original packaging. Maintaining the integrity of these items and upholding sanitary standards is paramount. We place great trust in the exceptional quality control standards upheld by our Japanese partners, and we carefully inspect each package before dispatch to our customers.
Secondly, our suppliers in Japan do not extend credit or return options for the products we source, which impacts our ability to facilitate returns for our customers. While we aim to explore the possibility of introducing a refund policy in collaboration with our suppliers in the future, we are currently unable to offer return options. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

  • As a part of our commitment to your satisfaction, we are pleased to assist you if your order is damaged during transit, which is a rare occurrence. To arrange for a return, please use our Contact feature and we will assist you as quickly as possible to remediate the issue.

    Please keep in mind that, in order to receive a replacement product or a refund, the merchandise must be returned to us, unless otherwise specified. Please provide us with your order number, name, a picture, and a description of the damage when you contact us.

  • We work hard to deliver your orders as soon as possible. So as soon as the payment is accepted and your order is confirmed, it is immediately processed for shipment. This means there is only a very small window of time where we can “catch” your order before it is physically picked, packed and set aside for shipping. This unfortunately means NO changes can be made to your order once it is placed.  

  • Unfortunately for hygiene purposes, we do not offer direct exchanges on any of our products.

  • We are deeply committed to animal rights and are proud members of several organizations that advocate for ethical treatment of animals. While we strive to promote animal-free testing for all our products, it is important to note that Japan, like Europe and the U.S., has not completely banned such practices. As we feature a diverse range of products from top manufacturers in Japan, we are unable to guarantee the latest manufacturing practices regarding animal testing. We recommend visiting the manufacturers' websites or consulting the Japan Anti-Vivisection Association https://www.java-animal.org for the latest information on companies that support animal-free testing.

  • We are consistently rotating our inventory to ensure the freshness and quality of our products. Unopened items generally maintain their quality for approximately 3 years when stored in cool, dry conditions, although this duration may differ for each product. Once opened, it's recommended to use the product within a specific timeframe, which varies depending on the nature of the product.
